As the new and official sponsor of the Wakefield Wildcats, Plumbcare.com was invited to the team’s home ground on Saturday, 15th November at 1pm to celebrate the launch of the 2015 Home and Away shirts, with the Plumbcare.com logo splashed across the front.
The event took place in the official Wildcats Shop in the Ridings Centre and was also attended by the Club Chairman Michael Carter, Wildcats Manager Verity Thomas and Marketing Manager John Flatman.
The Plumbcare.com team were called to the stage along with two Wakefield Wildcats players, Matt Ryan (Back Row) and Nick Scruton (Prop), who were named joint ‘Players Player’ of the year for 2014. The two players revealed the new Home and Away shirts, which looked fantastic with our company logo on the Wildcats strip.
Heart Radio presenter, Dixie, introduced Kristian Pashley, Plumbcare.com Managing Director and Operations Manager Adam Hoyle, to the crowd as they gathered around the stage. After greeting the Wildcats fans everyone headed back to the shop to pre-order their new shirts and purchase some other official team memorabilia. The rest of the Wildcats team also joined in on the fun by greeting fans and signing the merchandise.
All fans that pre-ordered a shirt between 2pm and 5.30pm on the day were entered into a lucky draw. The prizes up for grabs were the 'One Touch Idol Mini' and 'One Touch Idol S' Alcatel mobile phones. Good luck to all those that pre-ordered their shirts!
The day was a huge success and it was great to meet the Wildcats team as well as all the fans. We are looking forward to what’s to come in the 2015 season. Go Wildcats!
