Electrician

This position is for an electrical engineer who would be required to attend all types of electrical fault finding and maintenance from repairing a light to installing a new consumer unit and a full re-wire.

We would also require them to follow our heating install engineers to wire up the newly installed boilers and heating systems from a fused spur to an S/Y plan and all aspects of heating wiring.

We require the engineer to be organised by keeping parts spend to a minimum, and keep van stock levels up.

We require engineers who have a high first time fix rate and repair on the day rather than recall the job.

We run a call out system and may be required to be on the rota.

We would require the engineer to be friendly and courteous in the customer’s property and be a truthful and honest person to the company. Good time keeping is also essential.

The candidate is required to be apprentice trained, have their 17th edition, and inspecting and testing preferred.

£27,000 - £33,000 per annum A van, uniform and a PDA are supplied.

Gas Service Engineer

This position is for a gas service engineer to carry out gas servicing work to all gas appliances throughout our areas. Must obtain all relevant qualifications and have a good understanding of gas appliances and may also be required to attend some boiler break down jobs. We run a call out system and would be required to be on the rota.

We would require the engineer to be friendly and courteous in the customer's property and be a truthful and honest person to the company. Good time keeping is also essential.

£26,000 – £33,000 per annum

A van, uniform and a PDA is supplied.

Breakdown Engineer

This position is for a gas diagnostic engineer who would be required to be able to attend boiler break downs and repair all makes and models of boilers.

We do not require engineers who throw parts at boilers as this is not cost effective to us as a company - we require engineers who can diagnose parts and pin point the problem on the boiler.

We require engineers who have a high first time fix rate who can fix the boilers on the day rather than recall the job.

£28,000 - £35,000 per annum

Job Coordinator

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals from a strong customer-focused background who are keen to learn and progress within our rapidly expanding heating, plumbing and drainage company. We’re building a fast growing, vibrant, profitable business with a pool of talented and passionate people who are all proud to work here.

We currently have positions within our Wakefield office for Job Coordinators.

Main duties will include taking client and customer enquiries, job bookings and allocating jobs to engineers on the planner. This role is open to all candidates with a customer service background. Whilst we offer training, we would be really keen to speak to people with previous call handling experience or engineering background.

Hours

We require you to be flexible to work shifts between 8am and 9pm Monday to Sunday. You will work shift rotas between these hours totalling 40 hours per week.

Due to being a 24 hours, 7 days a week company (and also our current workload), overtime is also available during busy periods.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls.
  • Assist customers with their enquiries.
  • Update changes and status of each customer job.
  • Provide a high level of customer service.
  • Book and allocate jobs to trades persons.
  • Liaise with engineers.
  • Complete jobs off.
  • Send quotations to small works department.
  • Make customers aware of all of our services.
  • Other reasonable duties as and when required.

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Previous call centre experience.
  • Good telephone manner.
  • Able to act professionally at all times.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality.

Domestic Gas Breakdown Engineer

A Domestic Gas Engineer is required to join a specialist domestic gas maintenance company, with an outstanding reputation for risk management and delivering excellent levels of customer service to our customers and clients.

Our territory spans from York to Nottingham and Grimsby to Manchester, and currently we are looking for a domestic gas breakdown engineer in the Nottingham and Derby area.

Our position is for a domestic gas engineer to attend boiler breakdowns for our blue chip insurance clients. We repair all makes and models of boiler in customers' homes with a team of engineers who can electrically test and diagnose faulty components to pinpoint the problem with a high first time fix rate.

Our team of gas engineers and plumbers is well supported with continuous manufacturer and H&S training, tech engineer help and positive performance appraisals allowing you to develop your skills in field. You can expect a high level of planning and office support to enjoy a productive working day.

Sales focused - in addition to serving our insurance clients we offer life enhancing services and products to our customers, this aspect of your role attracts a generous bonus which is paid monthly.

Your rota is supplied well in advance and comprises a 5 day working week, overlaid with 12 weekends a year (you will have two days off in the week to compensate) and a call out rota of approximately 8.5 weeks cover in a year.

In addition to an excellent support and development framework you will be supplied with uniform, a company van, analyzer, PDA and 28 days holidays a year and an attractive pay structure.

Entry Level £28,000

  • Gas service engineer who has completed 2 year service
  • New starters, for a period of 6 month Probation

Level 1 £29,000 + Bonus Scheme

  • Gas engineers who have completed 6 month probation period
  • Potential total bonus of £4,000 per year, paid quarterly. This is based on K.P.I set by the company.

Level 2 £30,000 + Bonus Scheme

  • Level 1 engineer who has completed 1 year service
  • Potential total bonus of £4,000 per year, paid quarterly. This is based on K.P.I set by the company.
  • Option to work 1 extra hour/day in winter (4 months) and use the lieu time in summer, potentially 2 weeks extra holiday.

Level 3 £31,000 + Bonus Scheme

  • Level 2 engineer with 1 year service (2 years total at company)
  • Potential total bonus of £4,000 per year, paid quarterly. This is based on K.P.I set by the company.
  • Option to work 1 extra hour /day in winter (4 months) and use the lieu time in summer, potentially 2 weeks extra holiday.

Qualifications required: CCN1, CEN1, CPA1, HTR1, CKR1.
