Gas Breakdown Engineer - Wakefield, Sheffield, Manchester, Leeds, Derby, Nottingham, Hull

We are seeking a number of Domestic Gas Engineers to join our team. We are a specialist domestic gas maintenance company with an outstanding reputation, delivering excellent levels of customer service to our customers and clients.

Our territory spans from York to Nottingham and Grimsby to Manchester, currently we are looking for gas breakdown engineers across all areas.

Our gas engineers' primary responsibility is to attend boiler breakdowns for our blue chip insurance clients. We repair all makes and models of boiler in customers' homes with a team of engineers who can electrically test and diagnose faulty components to pin point the problem with a high first time fix rate.

Our teams of gas engineers and plumbers are well supported with continuous manufacturer and H&S training, tech engineer support and positive performance appraisals allowing you to develop your skills in field. You can expect a high level of planning and office support to enjoy a productive working day.

There is a KPI bonus scheme in place paid quarterly up to £4000 a year.

Your rota is supplied well in advance and comprises a 5 day working week, overlaid with 12 weekends a year (you will have two days off in the week to compensate) and a call out rota of approximately 8.5 weeks cover in a year.

In addition to an excellent support and development framework you will be supplied with uniform a company van, analyzer, PDA and 28 days holidays a year and an attractive pay structure.

Salary: £29,000.00 to £32,000.00 / year

Call Centre Operative - Wakefield

We are looking for customer service professionals to join our busy call centre here at Plumbcare.com. Working with several of the UK's leading insurance providers as well as private customers, we provide plumbing and heating services across the north and require enthusiastic, customer focused individuals to coordinate jobs and provide that essential link between customers, clients and engineers.

Based at our Wakefield office, duties will include:

  • Taking client and customer enquiries and being the first point of contact for incoming queries and issues related to maintenance work
  • Logging jobs, job bookings and allocating jobs to engineers on the in-house system while asking questions to determine the nature of the problem, ensuring jobs get booked in with agreed service level agreements
  • Processing visit return requests from engineers and other paperwork as requested
  • Ensuring all scheduled work is completed within set timescales
  • Responding to email messages from customers seeking help

We run a busy office and you will need to be able to handle a high volume of calls on a daily basis. We offer full training but previous experience of call handling, job coordination or planning would be a distinct advantage. You will need to be computer literate and able to work under your own initiative.

Hours

We require you to be flexible to work shifts between 8am and 9pm Monday to Sunday. You will work shift rotas between these hours totalling 42.5 hours per week.

Due to being a 24 hours, 7 days a week company, overtime is also available during busy periods.

Salary

We are offering a starting salary of £19,000 with performance related progression to £21,000 with the potential of overtime to enhance your package. We are also dedicated to promoting from within offering the potential of career progression with the company.

Domestic Reactive Plumber - West Yorkshire

A domestic reactive plumber is required to join a specialist domestic gas and plumbing maintenance company, with an outstanding reputation for risk management and delivering excellent levels of customer service to our customers and clients.

Our territory spans from York to Nottingham and Grimsby to Manchester, currently we are looking for a reactive plumber living and working in the West Yorkshire area

We are looking for a plumber who can carry out all aspects of plumbing work e.g. installing and replacing toilets, taps, ball valves, siphons, flexible hoses, pipework, radiator valves, domestic heating pumps, 2 port valves, 3 port valves, cylinders, radiators etc

Our team of plumbers are well supported with regular toolbox talks and H&S training, tech help and positive performance appraisals allowing you to develop your skills in the field.

You can expect a high level of planning and office support to enjoy a productive working day.

In addition to serving our insurance clients we offer direct services and products to our customers, this aspect of your role attracts a generous bonus which is paid monthly.

The engineer’s rota is structured with 4 days on, followed by 4 days off and includes a call out rota.
