Our PassionSince Plumbcare was established as a family business in 1979, we’ve been helping to install bespoke plumbing solutions, and wanted to find a way of helping those who may be losing their independence.
The ability to continue bathing, toileting and washing independently is important, and through Plumbcare Pods, we’ve developed a solution that we hope can make a difference to people’s everyday lives.
Many solutions for independent living tend to be obtrusive and even undignified. We wanted to develop Plumbcare Pods with a focus on a solution that becomes a natural part of the home, blending in to the existing room for a more modern, dignified solution.
Plumbcare Pods are a solution that allows for a pop-up bathroom to be installed into a central room in your house, in a discreet and un-invasive manner, allowing quick and easy access to bathing and toileting whilst keeping your independence and dignity.
Installing a Pod in a central room in the home, such as a dining or living room, makes the pod easy to access, great for users who find it difficult to climb stairs or have limited mobility.
Enabling IndependencePlumbcare Pods have been developed to enable independent living. Each individual pod is tailored to the unique needs of the user, allowing them to continue to live independently.
Each pod is installed with the users needs in mind, and can be installed by our team to your personal specification with a focus on enabling the independence of the user.

Each pod is made from strong and sturdy double skin GRP “Glassfibre Reinforced Plastic”. This makes cleaning the pod simple, and means there are no tiles to become loose and present a hazard over time. An anti-slip, polyvinyl floor also minimises the slip risk when wet.
As all Plumbcare Pods are freestanding, they can be easily removed from the home if no longer required. Pods are simply and securely anchored to the walls, any pipes are not recessed into walls, making removal much easier.
Plumbcare Pods can be a great solution for enabling independence in situations where an extension or wet room isn’t the right option.
