Plumbing disasters can happen at any time of the day and any day of the week, in fact sod’s law often dictates that they happen when it’s least convenient such as on a weekend or through the night. A customer recently called because they’d accidentally hit a heating pipe when putting up a picture in their new house – WHOOPS! This is quite easily done and when do we tend to do our DIY jobs? On a weekend or an evening of course when we’re not working ourselves.
When you have a plumbing emergency on a Sunday evening like this gentleman you can try to call your local one-man-band plumber out but it’s hit and miss as to whether they’ll be able to attend. Luckily this gentleman found us. He called us out on a Sunday night and we were able to come round that evening, fix the issue and even help him out with some queries on his central heating system, which was still fairly new to him, it being a new house.
