Back in the summer (remember that lovely hot weather!) we posted a Summer Plumbing Tip every day during August. Well, as winter is an even more critical time for your plumbing and heating, we have created a new series of tips specifically to help you through colder weather. These Winter Plumbing Tips will be posted every day throughout January.
The tips will cover a range of issues including preventative maintenance, what to do should you have a plumbing issue and general good advice to follow during the winter months.
Last year the ‘Beast from the East’ caused havoc with thousands of people’s plumbing and heating ranging from boiler breakdowns to burst pipes and leaks. Some of these issues could have been either prevented, minimised or dealt with had people known about the kind of things they could do. These tips aim to give people that knowledge so should we get extreme weather like that again, or even just regular winter conditions, it might just help them get through it with a minimum of issues.
The tips will be posted every day from 1st January on both Facebook and Twitter so keep an eye out for the #PlumbcareWinterPlumbingTip hashtag. We’ll also post a full round up of all 31 tips at the end of January here on the blog.
