Further to our announcement that we’ve become an official supporter of the Epilepsy Action charity we have set our first fundraising challenge. A team of 6 has entered the Bradford 10K running event which takes place on 17th March. This includes MD Kris Pashley, Operations Manager Tom Scott, Heating Team Manager, Gary Praid and engineers, Steve Mellor, Gary Tabor and Dannon Jennings.
All 6 are training hard for the race which is just a couple of weeks away; a reason cited by several people at Plumbcare for not taking part! ("Too soon, too soon"!). However, the gauntlet has been thrown down for others to get involved as we also have our eye on the Tough Mudder event in July and there’s plenty of time to train for that one! (We’ll keep you posted).
We’d love to raise lots of money for Epilepsy Action by doing this and we’re sure that getting some good support in this way will not only give a boost to the 5 doing this race but motivate more members of the team to take part in the Tough Mudder, or maybe a bake sale!
