As we grow as a company we understand the importance of supporting wider initiatives outside the company. Earlier this year we became an official supporter of the Epilepsy Action charity, as this is a subject close to our director’s heart (you can donate to our campaign here), but we also get involved with local causes and events.
This includes sponsoring a local youth rugby team and providing fireworks for a forthcoming bonfire event for the 12th Wakefield Scout Group (see details below). We have also lent our support for a local boy who needs life-saving surgery in America. We have donated to the fund and are also sponsoring a fundraising ball that is taking place on the 12th October in Leeds. (See details below, tickets are available).
We think that it’s important to get involved in the local community and champion causes that we believe in as a company. We’ll be taking part in more fundraising events for Epilepsy Action soon – keep watching the blog and social media for news.
