Plumbing and heating engineers have been designated essential workers; required to keep everyone's boiler working properly and deal with emergencies such as leaks and blocked toilets. These things are vital to public health and we're happy to continue to help our customers deal with these issues, which we appreciate will cause even greater anxiety than usual in these challenging times.
All our engineers are making us proud with their commitment to keep helping customers and their professionalism in doing so. Here are a few of our engineers doing their jobs over the last week.

"I called Plumbcare yesterday to attend to an elderly relative's house as her toilet was blocked and not flushing properly. The client lives alone, has dementia and is dependent on carers. They agreed to attend the following morning and to ring 30 minutes beforehand to ensure she could have a carer there to let the plumber in and stay with her.
Adam rang me 45 mins before he got to the property so we could make necessary arrangements. Also as promised he rang me on completion of the job to give me feedback.
In light of the current COVID 19 situation I appreciate the attendance of Plumbcare staff and their efficient way of dealing with vulnerable people. Thanks to Adam because I know it wasn't a pleasant job."
"I don’t know where to begin. From the moment we found out we had a leak on Sunday 5/4/20 and we are self isolating with being in a vulnerable group, the lady was so so caring and thoughtful and helpful at Plumbcare Yorkshire. She was so good when I expressed my worry about letting someone in after all this time but she was great. Our engineer came today and he went above and beyond to make sure we had hot water again especially with it being so important with the Covid 19 and self isolating. Nothing seemed to much for him and he was here a good time but he made sure the job was totally gone to make sure we didn’t have any other visitors. So friendly, so helpful and so caring and respectful of the distances and how he would go about the job. I can’t thank him enough for what he’s done for me and my family at this time and also to the company for letting him take the time to do his job. HUGE HUGE THANK YOU"
"Rang home care as our only toilet wouldn’t flush, Dave was at our house within the hour, toilet fixed within 30 minutes. He was fantastic, all social distancing was adhered to and he was polite and well mannered. Lovely guy, great service. Was really surprised we were able to get someone out during covid19 but brilliant service. Really happy. Thank you Dave"

I recently had a new boiler fitted by Plumbcare.com, the price was excellent. Every process was explained to me prior to fitting and time was spent going through what was required and the reasons why. They were not pushy and I was given time to think, all options were thoroughly explained to me.
