It's Unblocktober! A national awareness campaign dedicated to educating people about what they can and cannot put down the sink or toilet in order to avoid blocked drains and environmental damage.
Our second case study about the trainees we're supporting from Brookhouse Gas Training is all about former window cleaner, Lee Williams, who has embarked on a new career ladder!
Our first case study focusing on gas engineer trainees who have come to us to complete placements as part of their route to qualification, is about Michael Fisher who has decided to become qualified in heating after 20 years as a plumber.
We have joined forces with Brookhouse Gas Training to offer placements to their trainees - a compulsory element required to qualify. As well as giving the trainees' valuable experience, it allows us to support and develop new talent in the industry and strengthens our own team.
"May I thank you and your engineer who attended my home this week.
The engineer was so polite, helpful and good at his work, I worked in the gas industry (British Gas / Transco) for 30 years and understand what the service involves and the service required, and your service is excellent! Please pass my thanks on to the engineer involved."
